Hi r/construction last week I posted an issue I was having with dealing with a double foundation. I can conclude that I found the solution. The slab turned out to be 12β thick then 4β of dirt then another 8β below that.
I first cut the top layer with a floor saw, removed all the debris then went back over with a 500 lb hydraulic breaker and used a mini ex to remove all the dirt. Managed to still finish the project on schedule even!
Thank you to the suggestions that everyone posted here! I actually did spend a considerable amount of time looking for a 48β skid steer saw but they donβt rent them anywhere it seems.
