Post Body

Anybody ever damage a tool because electricity was hooked up incorrectly by the electricians at a new build? My coworker got his hvac vacuum pump fried because the standard outlet was actually putting out 220. Our boss knows and is going to make some calls. Just curious if we take the risk because the tools are ours or if the builder, the electrician, or inspector is responsible. The tool is $450. Picture attached of how the electrician found the panel. Hot and neutral were swapped.
