Psyllium Husk Alternatives?

Constipation is mostly under control but voids tend to feel incomplete. I realized that the feeling goes away when I'm taking a fiber.
The problem is that the most effective fiber for me so far was psyllium husk and now it makes me nauseous. Both the minimally processed versions and Metamucil make me feel nauseous .
Methylcellulose works somewhat but it doesn't work as smoothly on the days I don't eat as much. So I need a fiber that goes down smoother. Open to suggestions.
