Well there was a major dig being talked about around 2018. Aussie firm had the rights, Chinese hedge fun had a stake in that firm.
One of worlds largest deposits plus large uranium find as well. New Greenland government came in and said no mining there. Mainly due to concerns over the Uranium. So no one can have that mine for now.
Another large deposit. Firm looking at that also has lithium mine in Austria. Think firm is called Critical Metals. US was lobbying that firm last year not to give any rights to China.
US still buys around 60% of rare Earth minerals from China. However China is still main player in refining those minerals, around 90% of worlds supply.
