I got a speeding ticket. How do I get it reduced for thrown out

I’m 21, and this is my first ticket. I can pay it but just barely, and the increase of insurance premiums is too much. I do know what to do, do I got to court? Do I just pay it to get it over with. I don’t want to go to jail or have an increase. I’m just scared I think. But it’s too much for me. Help.
