While I’m visiting home. I want to get some dirt from my Family home( where I grew up and 4 generations of my family lived and farmed and 3 or those generations were raised on this land) since the land I grew up on has been tied to my family and my ancestors farmed it I was thinking I could use it instead of using grave dirt. So is there any ritual or prayer I need to perform in the process? Even tho it’s not grave dirt it’s still has the essence of my ancestors who farmed it. Is there a process that needs to be followed for collecting Ancestral dirt?
