Mercury Dime Cleaning?
Post Body

Having worn a Mercury dime for several months now I'm noticing it has become quite dark. This process was slow and gradual, so I don't know that it "took a hit" to protect me (though may have).
Does anyone know of any traditions on whether cleaning the dime is okay, or do we have to replace a Dime after a hit or after it has gone black? It seems that always getting a new one for a replacement would cause them to run out eventually.
