For almost 2 years after quitting my last job, I fell into the bad habit of staying up late and really screwing up my sleep schedule. I would often wake up ashamed and disappointed in myself. Every time I tried to fix my sleep schedule, I would always go back into the bad habit of staying up later and later.
I don't know what changed this time around, but I've been more consistent on waking up in the morning. I slept in today until 9:30-ish, but I've usually been getting up between 7-8 a.m. I've been getting an uninterrupted 7-8 hours of sleep, which is more consistent and better than the 4-6 hours I used to get. I'm going to try to establish an actual routine for 12-8 a.m. for now and stick to that cycle.
Wish me luck!
