It's possible to do hit and run tactics on enemy naval vessels with your own. Let's say you have range 50 and they have range 50 and are actively at war with each other. If you go within range, manually select your shit to fire on the ship within a few seconds, hit the enemy and rush your ship to go out of range - its possible that the enemy wont hit you back even though you were within range. This is due to the "sweeping" mechanic, a ship checks whether an enemy is within range after every X seconds (unsure the time).
My question is what is this time period exactly , and is it possible to know when a sweep will occur so that you can manipulate this mechanic?
