Removing concrete spatter from painted flashing/siding

Post Body

Our sidewalk contractor didn’t mask the flashing right beside a some sidewalks they poured previously, and it wasn’t caught before it had fully cured. I’m hesitant to try to scrape it off and repaint as I doubt it will match, and I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a chemical option to help dissolve the spatter and wipe off without damaging the flashing. Thoughts?

What acid do you recommend? Vinegar?

I use phosphoric acid all the time for metal paint prep in the shop, and it bubbles on the shop floor if I splash it. Also smells gross so I've never brought it to a site...

I've always avoided muriatic acid after I saw a spilled bottle ruin an old bosses garage. Rusted every tool in the shop. Even the ones in the drawers. Even the festool saws in sustainers on the other end of the shop
