Crew chipped neighbors driveway

Post Body

Iā€™m getting my backyard excavated and landscaped. The crew appears to have slightly damaged my neighbors driveway when bringing the excavator out. In total, the chip is about 4 inches long with a more significant chip in the middle.

The company said they can use concrete dust or poly sand to patch it but neighbor wants third party quotes to come assess the damage.

Iā€™m fine with that if it appeases him, but is that necessary?

There is no proof that is a fresh scratch, that doesn't look recent at all.
