Post Body

Home Depot self leveling concrete poured by “professionals” for my buddy’s TaeKwondo studio’s waiting room. They then used Behr concrete sealer. I walked in and just shook my head but have no idea how they made it look like that It’s obviously done wrong, swirly and flaking. What’d they do wrong?

Your fine Home Depot leveler is made by Rapid Set who make the same commercial product we use daily. The actual surface left alone after being poured is not designed to be the final floor wear surface however it can be the surface used to apply a moisture control system….. moisture control system is a commercial 100% solids 2 or 3 part epoxy.

Grind it down to get the hips knocked down and use a 100% solids epoxy and broadcast Quartz or flake then do a PolyAspartic or Polyurethane top coat.
