I went to a show last night (solo). There was a full grown man of smaller stature in front of me that started passing out. First, from leaning on a rail to stumbling into the people in front of him. Then from back on the rail to his legs giving out and falling into the people on the right. The girl he was with did absolutely nothing to help (i think it was a first date that wasnt going well). People he fell into (the second time) tried to get him to go outside but he refused.
I was standing behind him not engaging at all. Thinking to myself: 'this full grown man should be able to take care of himself.' He then decided to leave on his own accord.
About 30 seconds after he left. I started feeling light headed and I could feel myself on the verge of passing out as well. A sensation that I have never felt before. Learning from the guy in front of me I decided to remove myself to go find a seat. I was able to sneak onto the VIP seating to just sit and wait for the feeling to pass. If I would have stayed I definitely would have crashed out. Being alone, 6'3" 280lbs that would have been a spectacle.
That instant karma of my thinking 'he should be able to take care of himself', to me coming close to doing the exact same thing will stay with me forever.
