Post Body

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I am seeking advice on hearing protection. I work in the entertainment industry as a camera operator and audio engineer for sports games and concerts. My main concern is concerts, where I am in the pit and on stage a lot of getting shots of the band playing. The intercom headset I'm supplied with is The XTreme Headset – Eartec Systems, which does a good job of reducing noise but doesn't do enough. I've tried a combo of loop quiet earplugs and the headset, however, it doesn't do enough, and I can still feel something after the end of a show. I'm thinking of other methods like finding heavy-duty headsets on Amazon and finding an adapter that plugs into the wireless pack I carry on the side. Any feedback is welcomed, thanks.
