Authority

I don't use thralls, but I wanted to try my hand at an authority build of some sort. I'll be going over a few set ups.

Build I

Strength: 0

Can't fight strenght in realistically. Even if you could, not needed.

Agility: 15

Not a a lot of agility but enough so that you'll do pretty good damage. If you're using a bow take deadshot, if not use precision strike.

Vitality: 20

Max it. Fast Healer and Glutton are disgusting together. Using it defensively makes you nigh unkilliable in PvE and it's great in PvP.

Authority: 20

I'm not sure what's better between the first perk pick. I'm not sure how much health is gained from commanding presence. Healthy diet is better I'd imagine.

Went with Well Trained as this build is using follower damage armor and I'd Imagine War Party also yeets damage boosts from armor. Not sure though.

Grit: 0

This hurts a bit. Will have to use low stamina cost weapons.

Expertise: 5

Perk is meh. This is for extra carry weight.

Armor

Armor Bonus
Skelos Master Cultist 5% Agility weapon damage and 10% Follower damage
Skelos Master Cultist 5% Agility weapon damage and 10% Follower damage
Skelos Master Cultist 5% Agility weapon damage and 10% Follower damage
Skelos Master Cultist 5% Agility weapon damage and 10% Follower damage
Skelos Master Cultist 5% Agility weapon damage and 10% Follower damage

Full Skelos Master for the increase in both Agility Damage and Follower Damage. Pre-nerf this set was bonkers but it's still pretty good. Lower health than I normally like to play with but the assistance of a thrall should alleviate that.

Gameplay

With the lowish stamina my suggestion would be to use either Daggers of Dagon/Harpy or Voidforged Gladius.

Pretty much wait for openings while they're attacking your thrall then spam the shit out of them. Isnt the most skilled gameplay, but it should be fairly effective.

The build is likely more squishy than the opponent though, so be careful to not get hit. Play defensively with Glutton and you should be fine.

Build II

Strength: 15

Went with strenght for this version of the build. Nice for the extra carry weight. Second Skin to help with weight.

Agility: 0

Vitality: 20

Max it. Fast Healer and Glutton are disgusting together. Using it defensively makes you nigh unkilliable in PvE and it's great in PvP.

A bit of extra stam to work with is always good.

Armor

Armor Bonus
Theurgical Aegis 6% Follower Damage and 28 Health
Theurgical Aegis 6% Follower Damage and 28 Health
Theurgical Aegis 6% Follower Damage and 28 Health
Theurgical Aegis 6% Follower Damage and 28 Health
Theurgical Aegis 6% Follower Damage and 28 Health

Battle Pass armor which is unfortunate. Healthy boy with a good amount of follower damage. Heavy though, so don't get to aggressive with rolls. Armor Reduction Kits for weight reasons.

Gameplay

Realistically any strength weapon works. Just hit thing. Berserker will help with damage when it's triggered. Otherwise be careful trading with people as most combat builds will outdamage you.

The build is in heavy armor which can be difficult to use in PvP due to the lower stamina regeneration and the less rolls you have access to. In PvE, that doesn't matter too much.

Build III

Strength: 20

Hit hard. Second skin for carry weight and Crushing Blows to deal with peak shield users.

Agility: 0

Vitality: 20

Max it. Fast Healer and Glutton are disgusting together. Using it defensively makes you nigh unkilliable in PvE and it's great in PvP.

Authority: 20

War Party or Well Trained Works here.

Armor

Armor Bonus
Silent Legion Medium 12 Stamina
Khari Soldier 28 Health and 7 Stamina
Voidforged Dragonbone Medium 28 Stamina m
Silent Legion Medium 8% Strength Weapon Damage
Boots of the Serpernt 51 Carrying Capacity

I rarely would suggest using stamina gear, but for a build like this it's pretty neccessary. Same with the carry weight. It's worth it though, you'll hit harder than the previous two builds by a far margin.

Gameplay

Without any Follower damage coming from the gear, War Party can actually be used. I don't know which of the two is best, but for PvP War Parry would probably be better.

Dealing with two thralls and a player is much more annoying than as single thrall in a player. I'd just ignore the thrall, kill the player., then kill it. Avoiding two thralls should be more annoying. Especially if they're archers

While you're murdering a dude, archers will continuously peg at them. You if course will hit pretty hard and if he tries to run and climb away he"ll get shot off the wall.

Thralls

I should take about what thralls to use I suppose.

Honestly for noth Fighter and Archers, Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers are the cream of the crop imo. Good damage modifiers and extremely tanky.

On Siptah, The Accrused Thralls are pretty good and easy to get. Temple of the Loom always has a guaranteed spawn.

Conclusions

Build I and Build II are both pretty basic. They're what I expect from an Authority build. They take away from your Exile's ability to fight so that your thralls are stronger. Fair enough. Nothing Special. I was considering leaving them out but figured I'd keep then in.

Build III is scuffed, but it is definitely my favorite. It doesn't really take away from your ability to fight too much. You'll only be doing a bit less damage than people on normal combat builds. Obviously the lower stamina is an issue still but as long as you're smart you should be fine. You can play pretty defensively with a thrall backing you up.

This was interesting to do as I rarely run thralls for anything. Just don't find them all that amazing with how easy they are to counter in PvP. Anyways that's it I guess. If you have any questions or anything you want correct go ahead.
