Agility Build Guide 2.0

Post Body

I made an Agility build guide a while back. I feel like enough things have changed and I've become more knowledgeable so I figured I should rewrite it.

1. Attributes

Strength: 10

Heavy blows is extremely good. If you're only using dagger and bow it's not super useful. It used to affect bow damage but this was changed at some point.

Combo Master usefulness depends on what weappn you're using. It also uses to affect bows, but it doesn't anymore either.

I used to think Second Skin was useless, but it can be good depending on your weight. You can pretty easily not run any strength though.

Agility: 20

Obviously an agility build will be full agility. Deadshot is extremely great if you're using a bow. The arrows are much faster and it is much easier to land shots with it.

Precision Strike is good otherwise. I run Rolling Thrust for the extra armor pen on the bow. Double Jump* is good if you like jumping into bases.

Vitality: 20

Max it. Fast Healer and Glutton are disgusting together. Using it defensively makes you nigh unkilliable in PvE and it's great in PvP.

Authority: 0

I don't use thralls.

Grit: 5

Extra stamina is nice. You can invest more in this if you're not running strength

Expertise: 5

Perk is meh. This is for extra carry weight.

2. Armor

I use Light armor because I'm a crack head. Most people should be able to make medium work though.

Cheap and Easy

Armor Bonus
Silent Legion Light 48 HP
Silent Legion Medium 8% Agility weapon damage
Voidforged Dragonbone Medium 48 HP
Silent Legion Medium 48 HP
Voidforged Dragonbone Medium 28 HP
Total Bonus ** 8% Damage & 172 HP

This is cheap and easy. If you're playing on Drop on Death this is probably youre best bet

Expensive

Armor Bonus
Voidforged Dragonbone Medium 28 HP
Silent Legion Medium 8 Agility damage
Voidforged Dragon Bone Medium 48 HP
Vermin Hide 60 HP and 6% agility damage
Vermin Hide 60 HP and 6% agility damage

Siptah Light Armor Build

Armor Bonus
Demon Helm Armor
Black Corsair 48 HP
Marksman 8% Agility
Black Corsair 48 HP
Voidforged Dragon Light 28 HP

Decent armor set. May be better to use Agility boots. I like light armor.

Siptah Medium Armor Build

Armor Bonus
Bat Helm 60 HP
Silent Legion Medium 8% Agility Damage
Drowned Fists 48 HP , 8% Agility damage
Silent Legion Medim 48 HP
Any Agility boots 5% Agility damage

More stats. Really good stats tbh.

Build I Use

Armor Bonus
Demon Helm Armor
Marksman 8% Agility Damage
Voidforged Dragon Light 48 HP
Vermin Hide 60 and 6% Agility damage
Vermin Hide 60 and 6% Agility damage

If you're on a server that has a mix of Siptah and Exile lands gear this is what I'd use. It is what I use in fact.

3. Weapons

Every weapon here is viable depending on the situation.

Katana

  • On Exile Lands the only Katana worth using is PvP is Blade of the Seven Winds, oiled with Agony preferably. It is technically better than Siptah Katanas as long as the person is above 800 armor.
  • For PvE a crafted Star Metal katana is best on Exile Lands.
  • Siptah has a few contenders. Curved Sword of the Legion has the highest possible base damage. Venom Coated is poison which is nice. Sapping has cripple which can be annoying for your opponent.

Daggers

  • Best Daggers on Exile Lands are Daggers of Dagon. They are the highest base damage and have lesser cripple.
  • Best Daggers on Siptah is Harpy Daggers imo. They have the same damage as other Siptah daggers, but have greater cripple. If someone out stams against you, they're dead with these.

Bow

  • Reach of the Red Mother is by far the best bow. Drops from Red Mother on both maps.
  • Khari and Voidforge are second place on their respective maps.

Shortsword

  • If you're on Wxile Lands you're stuck to a Starmetal shotsword which sucks.
  • If you're on Siptah, Voidforged is by far the best. Highest Base damage and poison.

Axe

  • Some dual axe weapons are Agility based.
  • Whrilwind Blades are the best for Exile Lands
  • Serpentes Blades are the best on Siptah.

Claws

  • No Idea what the best Claws are on Exile Lands. Probably aren't worth using due to lacking Armor Pen.
  • On Siptah, the best is Serpentes Chakrams. Highish damage but they can be kitted with Masters. Also have acidic which can be annoying.

4. Gameplay

PvE

  • Post Katana Nerf, it's a toss up between katana and short sword now for me. Both due pretty good damage. Depends on enemy tbh.

PvP

  • Katana has it's fast lights that are very good for interrupting opponents during their recovery frame. I can pretty easily roll in, attack during a person's recovery frame, and get out if I dont stun them. If i do stun them i try and follow up with more lights, or maybe a heavy or dash depending on circumstances. Try to catch your opponent off guard with heavies and dashes. They'll feel them.

  • Daggers as most people know are extremely spammable. This honestly works against most people but a skilled player can normally counter this. I use daggers to attack between opponent attacks. Play defensive until you find an opening then burst with aggressiveness. If they stam out you will likely win the fight.

  • Bows are really good. They're an amazing counter to any hard hitting slow weapon. Instead of spamming arrows, which can be effective tbf, I roll and switch weapon mid roll then fire. This with deadshot will counter most weapons that leave you in place a while. You can also do this and hold down the Heavy Attack button for a second to do a "half charge shoot"- that will do more damage than a light attack.

  • Shortsword is like the Pike of agility to me. It's extremely linear and can be countered pretty easily if you play dumb with it. I like to roll attack with it and whittle people down with the high damage.

  • Claws are unfortunately not super great to me. I can use them reasonably effective but I feel like other weapon are just better. I use them similar to how I use daggers. Play defensively then burst with the hard hitting heavies.

The majority of this is my personal opinion. Other players may do things differently than I do, and that's fine. Whatever works for you, works for you. I just wanted to help spread some information.

And if anyone has any questions, go ahead and ask.
