My corruption Perk is affecting my Friends

Hello as a sorcerer one of my perks does a blast of corruption every time im hit. It is good against enemies but if my clanmates are close by they say they are becoming corrupted from it as well Is there any way to turn this off or anything they can do or where that can stop them from getting corrupted I wasn't aware that this affected them as well.
