Hello, I am concerned about finding a job with the current market with only a bachelors. I am thinking of switching to electrical engineering, which seems to be more stable and getting a masters in computer engineering while working a job. I have a 3.5 GPA (should be higher because I transferred with a 4.0 after 2 years of community college but it doesn't count towards my GPA). I am unsure whether I will be able to get an internship due to mortage and bills but have an offer from a defense company in san diego (very far from where I live). I love coding and almost equally enjoy hardware and would be happy doing either. I would say I am somewhat better than my peers at coding but not a prodigy or anything. I am also a female, hispanic, veteran with a inactive secret clearance. I am kind of hoping my diversity points help me edge out others in a competive market even though personally feel it is messed up. Any thoughts welcome.
