Soooo picking with tweezers is actually helping my skin...
Post Body

I know, I know, it's still not good but it's better than when I just had my fingers to work with. I've found that because I don't use a mirror to pick, it's hard to tell the difference between if the imperfection my fingers are feeling as they touch my skin is a ingrown/clogged hair, a piece of dead/dry skin or a scab. Sometimes I'd squeeze a zit that wasn't ready to pop and it will scab over, trapping whatever inside until I pick it again.

With tweezers, I can get even the tiniest ingrown hairs, I can get all those dry skin flakes popping up everywhere, I don't have to dig my skin. There's less scabbing, and with time and skincare, less skin flakes, also tweezers are easier to sanitize and because I don't have to squeeze so hard with tweezers as I do with my fingers for some weird reason, I get less bruising too. I acknowledge that this definitely won't work for everyone, because some people are diggers rather than pickers (I tend not to dig, but I pick and squeeze and I am still doing damage to my skin, but it is less damage (don't get tweezers with sharp edges though). I do almost all of my picking exclusively with tweezers now. I might eventually get some proper tools, but I'm poor and tweezers is all I got lol.
