Vaseline as tip from therapist

I told my therapist barriers (covering up mirrors, wearing gloves) are pretty much useless for me because I’ll just end up taking them off. She suggested putting Vaseline or Aquaphor on my boobs so it’s harder for me to pick them. I’ve had people suggest lotions before but this is so much better because I’d have to take a shower to get it off and who wants to bother with that?
She also suggested getting acrylics (I had no idea they could be short and as a lesbian I was pleased to hear this).
