Has anyone who has stopped/is trying to stop noticed increase in anxiety?

I’m trying to figure out if I’m more anxious because of my life situation or if I’m more anxious because I’ve been trying to stop picking/have been picking a lot less.
Any one else had this happen?
I’m going to talk to my doctor about starting on Buspar since I’ve had several anxiety attacks in the past 2 weeks.
