How is the correct arrow length determined for a compound bow?
Post Body

I apologize for this very seemingly trivial google resutable answer..

The only problem is there's two theory's on it and one is 2" past the end of the bow and the other is 2" past the riser. So which one is it? And I only ask because every other time I've had arrows cut it was the latter. However I went to go get some cut for me and they chose the former and now I'm confused guys. Also if there's any pros out there how could one be absolutely sure what length to make it, is there something better than the 2" regardless of where?

Please don't downvote me I am serious about this question and it's been bugging me so much because I want to get some ordered off the internet and I've left two different shops with two very different arrow lengths :(
