After playing ever day after the Tuesday update “fixing” ranked MM from MMR to CSR based matching, I can firmly say this is the correct method moving forward. My games played proves my point but not only that, the game feels extremely balanced in terms of skill gap between each match.

As someone who is going back in forth between D5 and D6 trying to make the push to Onyx. I encounter an extremely large amount of smurfing and boosting. However I still find most my games played with 1k plus games played accounts. It’s honestly ok running into the occasional Smurf if it means 80% of my games are balanced in favor of my visible rank.

Long story short the games feels winnable and the skill gap feels closer (unless the occasional Smurf). I know I still need to improve but I play solo almost all the time and still need to find players to group with. Again CSR MM is the way.
