Hi everyone, I'm working on a competitive Jeska/Ishai list and I was wondering if it was worth it to jam the [[Spellseeker]] one turn combo with [[Ephemerate]] and [[Final Fortune]].
In case you are not familiar, the line goes: Cast spellseeker finding ephemerate. Target your spellseeker with it to flicker your spellseeker whose ETB will be used to find final fortune. On your extra turn, the rebound will trigger on your upkeep, blinking spellseeker again, this time finding [[Enlightened Tutor]]. You will cast that spell during your upkeep finding [[Underworld Breach]] which you will then draw during your draw step. The next step is to cast underworld breach and escape ephemerate, bouncing your spellseeker and finding [[Brain Freeze]]. You can then escape the [[Enlightened Tutor]] again and find [[Lion's Eye Diamond]]. Cast your brain freeze to mill LED into your grave, and from there you are able to use LED in conjunction with BF to storm off for the win.
Where I'm struggling with this combo is that it is very mana heavy and also requires the addition of two dead cards to the list which are not useful outside of the combo. And not being in black means my only other tutor for spellseeker is [[Imperial Recruiter]]. But at the same time, this one card combo is incredibly powerful and is easier to assemble than my other combos in the deck which all need at least one other card. So what do you all think the move is?
