How do you deal with being told your deck isn't competitive enough for a pod.
Post Body

Hi all,

I play [[Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle]] as my cedh comander with a 5-6 card variation from the decklist in the cedh decklist database. Playing in most pods I've never felt this deck struggles to be powerful or that this deck may not belong.

However there are usually two cedh pods in my local LGS that will not let me have a seat opting to play 3 players or just waiting for someone else to arrive just in case. They say that Teshar isn't a cedh deck and that it wouldn't be fair.

For additional context, ive played at this shop for 12 years and have played with most of these players for several years in other formats. Secondly they have no problem playing their mid-high decks vs Teshar. It feels like when teshar wins in those games its dismissed as luck and when I lose its "That's why Teshar isn't competitive"

I don't consider this group toxic or bad players or anything but my deck is really not being taken seriously.

Does anyone else see issues like this in pods or at an lgs and how do you handle it.
