While I know Meren isn't T1, I'm really enjoying the deck and enjoy the value engine that Meren provides.

To compete in an unknown meta of fairly tuned cEDH decks I'm probably going to have to go Stax with combo finish in order to have a chance I feel. I currently plan to add Trinisphere, Smokestack, Winter Orb, and Thorn of Amethyst. Contamination would be another option I'm considering as well as Null Rod. I am not working with a budget per se, but Nether Void, Chains, and The Abyss are cards I probably will never buy. Currently not going to get a Bayou either.

Beyond these additions, I would like some advice on tuning - what to cut, what are some upgrades I haven't thought of, etc. All advice is welcomed (even if it's "you probably can't compete with cEDH decks")

Is Mike Trike/Ballista enough, or should I have the backup Nooze combo as well? I like having flexibility in case a part of one of the combos gets exiled.
