So today was the first time that I played in an ALGS event. Have played a lot of tournaments here in South Africa, scrims that contained a lot of the countries top teams so I thought that why not give it a go in the Challenger circuit. Boy oh boy was I in for a surprise. It's a totally different ball game, where every tiny mistake during your rotation and everything else puts you in a huge disadvantage and the correct plays rewards you. Competing against some very talented teams made me realize how good the pros actually are.
To the lower ranked players thinking how it feels to play ALGS. It's mentally draining, you have to focus all the way from drop to the end of the match. And you'll be severely punished if you don't land your shots🤣🤣
I apologize if my wording is a bit wonky, I'm still drained but I thought why not share a few words about my experience 🤣🤣
