Is the SRO really worth it?

Current have a shadow 2 compact id love to put the SRO on. I love the 5 moa dot as opposed to the 2 moa on the 507 Comp
After a $100 optic plate and then a $550 SRO and it’s still not drop proof I’m having a hard time buying it
However the EPS has a 6 moa dot and comes in cheaper than both. Any insight?
