I love computers and tech and decided I'm interested in doing a career switch.

I hit section 2.1 with port numbers and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Any suggestions on ways to study/memorize the port names and their assigned functions? Watching Prof Mess videos on it and also have the Meyers book on A but the task seems daunting to memorize the network ports.

Was wondering how in depth the exam is on the info for each port and its function. How those that have passed have been able to memorize these ports. Any suggestions you guys/gals my have on this section.

Also if this is overwhelming for me how screwed am I for the rest of the exam. Without getting myself to discouraged I'm thinking to myself "if THIS is tough how likely am I to grasp the rest of the info in this course?" Section 1 was a cakewalk because I've built my own computer and a few others and have used computers my whole life essentially (I'm 29)
