Study style question

Just curious what you guys preferred when it comes to studying. Just finished A , getting ready to go into NET and debating on how to tackle it.
First option is an hour a day for 3-4 months
Second option is 15 hours a week for 6-8 weeks
What have you guys found is more effective? Iām not in a time crunch , but obviously sooner would be better. I also want to be able to learn the material and retain , not just to pass the exam.
