Scored 781/900. Some of the questions were unlike any practice questions I’d seen before but some were very similar to questions I’d seen. It’s true what they say, you will feel like your failing at first. Just have to try to shake that feeling off and remind yourself it’s just the nerves.
Didn’t have any issues taking the test at home, however I did attempt to take the exam a week ago and got kicked out after a few questions. If this happens to you contact Pearson Vue. They will offer you a voucher. Luckily today, the chat was working as it was not a week ago.
What I used : Messers Video series. Very highly recommend as usual. I also used Mike Myers video course and while it does good at filling in some weak points, he covers a lot that’s not on the exam. Also used Jason Dions practice exams (highly recommend) and something I don’t see recommend here too often which is the CompTIA A 1002 app for iOS. Some of the questions on the exam were very similar to what I remember seeing here as well. ,
Background : not currently In IT but I work for a large pawn company and have been re-formatting computers and mobile devices for years . I felt the 1002 was easier for me personally due to this. (Scored 709 on the 1002)
I’ll answer any questions about the exam.
