Average study time for NET + ?

So I have my A 1002 on Thursday, and if all goes well I plan on pursuing NET afterwards. My concern is the test was introduced on March 2018, so by my understanding it will be retired on March 2021. Just curious if 6 months is enough time to study for this cert. Just for reference I studied for about 3 months for each core of the A , but I knew a decent portion of the info going in. Any input would be appreciated !
