CompTia Route for a BA?
Post Body

Hey all,

I wanted to ask for your advice.

I’m a Business Analyst with around 10 years experience working in Corporate IT for large company. I studied business at University so don’t have a technical background and therefore I’m trying to build up some technical depth.

Through my work, I’ve built up some good foundational knowledge to the point where I’ve managed to build my own pc, so key technical foundation concepts are okay.

With this in mind, do you think it is possible to go straight to the Security ? Or would you recommend doing Network first?

In terms of my goals, I’m aiming to become much more aligned to the Solution Architecture role definition, and having worked with those guys networking and security always seem to be the key project blockers, so being able to talk the language will be a huge help.

Thanks in advance for your support.
