Hi everyone, just wanting a bit of advice.
Just a bit unsure on what to pursue but I just passed the ISC2 CC cert 2 weeks ago, which is like a foundational cybersecurity cert. While studying for it, I found that learning the networking side of cybersecurity more intriguing than other concepts.
I have started learning Network in order to strengthen my already basic IT skills and get a better grasp of networking in general. But I know Security also goes over Network security and would just add on to what I have learned in the CC cert.
So, would it be better for me to do Security and carry on with what I have already learnt from the CC exam or go back to basics with Networking ?
I have worked as Service Desk Analyst for 8 months, Service Engineer for 4 months and I am 1 year 8 months as Level 1 App Support currently.
Thanks 👍🏾
