Plan on taking A+ 1101 next week. Any advice?

I been studying with Messer. Love his content and how he words and brings things up. With his study material I got a B and a B and one C for his 3 practice tests. Wife and I don't have a lot of money. So I just don't wanna pay for the test an fail and lose out on $238. Those that recently have taken it or not too long ago I'm open to advice as far as what I should make sure I'm ready for etc. I know there are CompTIA objectives online. Guess I'd rather hear from hands on experience.
