I've been studying for Data , but time and time again I've heard that employers aren't looking for it. I was thinking it'd be a good cert just to show that I have knowledge of the area from a certified institution (COMPTIA) but I've been talking to a mentor who mentioned AWS, more specifically Cloud Solutions Architect.
I have been lead to believe that AWS certs are more amazon specific. While Amazon is a huge company and plenty of people use their services, it's not necessarily a certification that has broad implications as far as skills and training goes.
Data (which employers aren't looking for) or AWS (which employers might look for, but overall a smaller group than potentially other certs)
