There’s a sauna at my University gym and I rlly wanna use it after a workout so I can give the muscles some relaxation but I have always been petrified of the communal shower setup I have to use to go use it.
I’m not scared of communal showers as a concept, I think the camaraderie and just accepting other men being naked and not making it a thing regardless of sexual orientation is exquisite. It’s just I’m a fat guy with a foreskin that is incredibly long and I have a lot of stretch marks. And I know majority of the time no one is looking or cares about me showering, but there will certainly be guys who are openly judging my body and that just gives me insane anxiety.
I’ve been debating going to the gym later cuz there’s probably less guys around and if ur working out after 8pm you’re really not focused on anything but getting that pump in. But even then I’m just still incredibly hesitant.
So is there a way for me to just get over it? I’m sure some of you have gone through this same issue, so if you could share your stories or just simple tips in order to ease me into it. I’d absolutely appreciate it!
