When I was a kid, I remember going to the beach and after I used the communal shower room. I went in and it was huge with multiple rooms that went back aways. It was sorta outside in that the walls were about a foot off the floor and there was space at the top also but there was a roof. I remember there were some older boys in the front and I was kind of shy so I kept walking back til I was by myself. There had to be six or more rows if I recall correctly. This would’ve probably been in the mid-80’s maybe 1985 or so. I am thinking it was either on Sandy Hook or possibly Point Pleasant? Does anyone remember this shower room? Any idea if it still exists at all? I live in Texas now but my folks are still down the shore.
