I recently went back to grad school. Since I’m a student I decided not to squander my access to my university’s incredible fitness center like I did a decade ago in undergrad. Since my younger days I have become much more comfortable with my body and nudity even in non-sexual situations. I’m often nude at home and sleep nude.

Needless to say I was excited to use the communal showers. However my university has four stalls. I noticed guys there tend not to use the communal showers because of this. The only guys I noticed to use them were both extremely cruisy. Since I’m gay I tend to to be very self-conscious of my actions in the locker rooms since I don’t want to be lumped in with the known cruisers.

I found that due to my position I technically have access to the faculty locker room. I tried it out today and it was great. There’s only one stall and one guy was already showering in the communal space. We greeted each other and went about our washing. It was a great experience showering and being naked out in the open. It’s nice not having to hide our bodies.
