The practice of communal showering has rapidly declined in the US. I'd estimate in 1964 >90% of guys showered communally at school on a regular basis; in 2024 it's just 5%, and those are almost exclusively sports teams.
To the members of this forum from other countries, what are the current practices regarding communal showering in your locale, and do you think they have seen a seismic shift over the past couple of generations?
