Thank you guys for all the kind words and DM’s of encouragement on the last post.
I did want to give everyone another update because I went back today. I asked yesterday would it be weird to go back on the weekend when I don’t have work. And no it was not weird at all. Actually there were a lot of people there. And they were not all older people either. A lot of younger guys like me were in there just chilling.
I went in the sauna and steam room as well as the hot tub. The hot tub had a lot of people in there some people had to stand. But it was extremely relaxing. 10/10.
When it came down to the shower there were a few other guys in there so I could not hide at the corner shower head. I had to go to one of the middle ones which are much more open and it can be seen by the people coming out of the restrooms, hot tub, and steam and sauna rooms. BUT IT FELT SO NORMAL. I got a little nervous but after about 10 seconds I really forgot I was at a communal shower. And in the past when I used the communal showers I rushed because of the nerves but today I took my time like I would do at home. I truly felt comfortable. And this is a big stride because with the amount of people I almost got scared and chickened out.
And when I got back to my locker I also didn’t do the towel dance again. So I am proud of my
Also it did seem more “cruisey” today and a guy winked at me when I first walked in. So that made me almost not use the showers. But I just ignored it.
I just wanted to give you guys an update I am proud of myself I am making progress.
