Off the recommendation of someone on this subreddit, I tried out a nearby gym. For the sake of professionalism I won't say which one, but had a little bit of an awkward interaction after getting a guest pass there. Day 2 or 3 I went, I got done with my workout, stripped down (naked, as you do), and walked to the showers when I noticed there was a female janitor cleaning in there. I immediately felt very flushed and embarrassed. Nobody had said anything thankfully. As I got out of the showers and started dressing then I noticed there was a sign by the entrance stating there was a female cleaning the locker room (it wasn't there when I first got done with my workout). I know I did nothing wrong, I wasn't trying to "strut my stuff" or cruise or anything. I got dressed a little quicker than usual to avoid being seen. The whole interaction made me a bit uncomfortable though and reaffirmed I wouldn't be switching gyms or coming back. It's a shame because I really enjoyed what the gym had to offer compared to my usual gym. Am I overreacting or was this an odd situation? I left a review on the gyms google page about this and offered that if the sexes were reversed I'm not sure this would fly.
