I'm not just talking about a single bad commercial that might play often, but rather about a genre of commercials that seem especially pervasive where you live. (Excluding the political ads currently polluting the airwaves)
For example, in the Boston area, where I lived for a long time, there are many, many commercials for furniture stores, generally with low production value.
I also lived in Orlando, where every other commercial seems to be for one law firm or another.
Here in NYC, I see the Shriner's Hospital ads all the time, and they make me cringe.
