I mean, she's an ok actress in niche roles - but I don't think she's star of the show material, by any means.
But, her shtick for a while now has been "bottle blonde Valley mom" - how much she actually matches her screen persona, I have no idea... But I figure the commercials are scripted to play on the bit she's known for.
But, yes, this one in particular is just overplayed and poorly executed anyway. Aside from a quick "sure they take discover" what does any of it have to do with the product being advertised?
