New to CRE and corporate life. What are these firms like? What do I apply for?
Post Body

Hello! So I am the first in my entire extended family to go to college, so I apologize if I sound completely ignorant about this stull. I have recently accepted a full time offer to join Big 4 auditing at Deloitte but I realize that I should start thinking about exit ops. Now at the Big 4, the job titles seem very straightforward and easy to choose from. I even have buddies in Asset Management and IB, and these firms also seem very straightforward with their jobs. In this industry (I will use CBRE as an example) it seems like they offer everything. Now I don't want to be an accountant my entire life, and I feel that a career in one of these firms are more fulfilling than auditing, but I don't even know where to start. I suppose my main question would be, how do I find a job for me? The SPQREA job seems interesting and the most "real estate" oriented one. Is this normal? Thank you for any help.
