I was tasked with finding equipment for recessed - in ceiling speakers that will be mounted in the ceiling above a bar in the venue where I work. We want 4 speakers and an amp. The amp will be by the mixing console and we will use the speakers as delay speakers. The bar is in the same room as the stage, but it's under the balcony. The line array's we have do a great job in the main performance area, but under the balcony it's hard to hear when you're around the bar. They will be used more for just vocals, I wouldn't route a band through them. I was thinking a 70V system would work for this, but I need help picking an amp and preferred 8" speakers.
