Closer to the end of the year, I will need an art team for a short story about a dysfunctional family that serves as an parable about modern geopolitics around Baltic Sea Region. The work will entail drawing school age girls (main characters) that are anthropomorphised countries (not countryballs, lul). Idea directly inspired by Orwells Animal Farm, so it's childrens storybook in spirit. Audience is Teen . Involves heavier themes of emotional and physical abuse, alcoholism, etc.
I don't have a strict preference for a style, but I expect you to have a portfolio I can look at to judge whether or not we fit. Honestly I care less about raw talent, and more about whether or not you can ''get behind the story'', because I hope to feature the artist as much as possible in the limited promotion we will have. Bonus points if you have an understanding of Eastern European history / hail from there. I don't mind sharing story credit with artist in case you have want to have any input.
It will be paid work (crowdfunded). Story concept is validated and plotting done, with script waiting to be done.
TL;DR Fishing for interest in collaborating for a parable about BSR geopolitics, dressed as a childrens book.
