Hi! Up until recently I’ve had my own netgear modem/router. It bit the dust and I decided to just rent a xfi gateway to maximize my speeds. But of course I’m running into an issue with my PS5 and certain games/social features. I read online where the xfi requires port forwarding for certain things due to firewall (maybe?) and I set this us using one of the premade profiles, which fixes the issue. I can see my friends list, access cloud gaming, and play GTA. For that one session. If I walk away long enough for the PS5 to goto sleep I have to reset my xfi gateway for it to work again, which is extremely annoying and time consuming. Some days I have to set through this a half dozen times. Anyone have a fix that doesn’t involve going back to Netgear?
