I've been a Comcast customer since 2007, and I've been on a non-contract plan, internet only, since around 2008 - currently I've got 200 down/10 up blast, and I'd like a plan that's similar or better with Xfi Complete (for unlimited data), but I don't want to both pay $25 above what I'm paying now AND be locked into a contract for pretty much the same thing I was getting a few years back before caps were reintroduced.
I talked to an in-chat rep today and was given the option of downgrade to 100 down/5 up, and while I might be able to live on 100 down, 5 up is untenable because photo backup is one of the main reasons I'm interested in getting back to an unlimited plan, and I regularly stream live TV from my Plex server to my phone when I'm out and about.
I currently use my own modem. I don't want television, I don't want phone - just the base internet plan. I'm fine getting with xFi complete, but I will be using my own routers, and will only use the xFi in gateway mode.
Thanks!
