Is there any way to connect with the local tier 2 techs to determine when they will be doing line work? I've been suffering with frequent disconnects due to upstream power for months now, and been through 6 technicians, some of whom had said they would schedule line work, but no changes. One gave me a filter, another removed noise from a cut cable in another unit, but nothing fixed it. Finally another person in my complex got them to at least draw the dig lines in the lawn, but with the recent tropical storm (CT) we've got no idea when the work will happen.
I've disconnected 32 times in the past 48 hours, not even counting the times where it's just really bad but not disconnected. My only other option is frontier, which is not really an option. All I want to know is when the work is being done so I can discuss the issues we're having with tier 2 techs, and make sure that if the issue isn't solved I don't go back to square one and another 6 months of not being able to use my internet properly.
I have managed to get a supervisors email from one of the techs, but if there's another way to track it easier that would be great so I don't have to bug them, and so they don't forget with all their actual work (which I expect isn't supposed to include talking to customers about schedules).
I've attached images of one of the issues with upstream. When it works, it's great. But the 4 upstream channels tend to amp themselves up to 54 dBmV and then entirely unlock, with the downstream crashing about a minute after. How long they stay unlocked or at higher power levels is something that seems entirely random. I can still get downstream data while the upstream crashes, frustratingly let me hear my teammates in overwatch realize that I've disconnected, but I don't play much anymore since Blizz threatened me with a ban due to disconnects.
The images below are my current upstream/downstream (but it changes frequently), followed by a continuous speed test I'm running which tracks downtime (30s of 100% up and down packet loss preceding the times listed), and the logs from my modem/gateway.
